A brake that remains engaged until it is
intentionally released by the truck’s operator.
A principal part in the order processing element and order fulfillment process, the distribution center is a facility that is usually smaller than a company’s main warehouse. It is used to receive, store temporarily, and redistribute goods, based on received customer orders.
A rack configuration that permits a vehicle to
enter the structure from one side to pick up or
deposit pallets on a continuous rail. The structure
dictates first-in, last-out storage.
Drive-in type racks allow both the pallet and fork
truck to enter the rack structure. Drive-through
racks allow for total penetration of the racks
through the depth of the rack since there is no
obstructive back bracing.
