GREENE, N.Y., December 17, 2021 — The Raymond Corporation is a recipient of a Supply & Demand Chain Executive magazine 2021 Green Supply Chain Award. This award recognizes companies making sustainability a core part of their supply chain strategy, both within their own operations and as part of their product offerings. Raymond’s investment in energy- and water-saving solutions, use of sustainably sourced materials and innovative energy products garnered the company a spot on this list.

Raymond offers a variety of sustainable solutions, including the recently launched Energy Essentials Distributed by Raymond® line of lithium-ion batteries, which provides customers with significant productivity enhancements, including reduced electricity costs. When used in conjunction with Raymond’s iWAREHOUSE® fleet management system, facility managers can correct for inefficiencies, identify opportunities to operate more efficiently and even track progress against goals.

“We are honored that our sustainability efforts have been recognized again by Supply & Demand Chain Executive,” said Jennifer de Souza, senior director of energy solutions, procurement and leasing at The Raymond Corporation. “Sustainability has always been an important objective for Raymond, and we look forward to continued innovation as we grow our initiatives in this field to support Raymond and our customers' larger corporate social responsibility goals.”

Additionally, Raymond continues to invest in sustainable solutions with its cutting-edge lithium-ion power technology. Committed to providing leading energy solutions through unequaled testing, Raymond has worked in coordination with the Battery and Energy Storage Technology Test (BEST) & Commercialization Center (BTCC), an ISO 17025 accredited testing laboratory, to build significant capability in lithium-ion battery testing and development. This relationship allows Raymond to gather crucial insights into longevity as well as technical performance of energy storage systems to ensure they’re performing optimally in any situation.
