Fuel Cell Technology Powers Natural Foods Distributor
As part of its long-standing commitment to the environment UNFI was examining ways to reduce its energy consumption. They partnered with Raymond and its Sales and Service Centers to develop the industry's first fuel cell-compatible orderpicker, ultimately implementing a fully fuel cell-powered lift truck fleet. UNFI estimated carbon emissions to be reduced by approximately 132 metric tons annually, an amount equivalent to the annual emissions of 35 automobiles.
