  • What is a pallet jack?


    A pallet jack is the most basic form of forklift and is intended to move pallets in a warehouse or trailer. Pallet jacks are some of the most essential tools found in warehouses and are used for transporting small loads for short distances.

    Typically, both manual and powered pallet jacks are used for loading and unloading of trucks while riding electric pallet jacks can be used for horizontal transport through warehouses.

  • Manual Pallet Jacks

    A manual pallet jack is a hand-powered jack most commonly seen in retail and personal warehousing operations. They are used predominantly for lifting, lowering and steering pallets from one place to another.

    Powered pallet jacks, also known as electric pallet trucks, walkies, or power jack, are motorized to allow lifting and moving of heavier and stacked pallets. The powered pallet jack is generally moved by a throttle on the handle to move forward or in reverse and steered by swinging the handle in the intended direction.
