Raymond's Zoning and Positioning (ZaP) options ensure more reliable, repeatable truck operation by automatically controlling many order picker and turret truck functions in very narrow aisle, wire-guided applications.

Operators are able to focus on their surroundings and the task at hand instead of searching for locations, so they can learn more quickly, execute more accurately, and work more efficiently.

  • Zoning

    Limits truck functions such as lift height and travel speed to adapt to the unique features and conditions of your facility such as:

    + Varying ceiling heights
    + Pedestrian cross walks or end-of-aisle stop/slow
    + Restricted or safety zones
    + No entry areas or enforced one-way travel
    + Racking irregularities
    + Congested areas

    (Available as a standalone option)



    WMS Integration

    Allows you to assign and send orders electronically to a specific truck, eliminating the need to manually enter order locations.

    A WMS Integration will include both Zoning and Positioning.

  • Positioning

    Guides the truck to the next storage location, taking the fastest, most efficient path for optimum productivity by coordinating a truck's lift height and speed.

    Positioning allows significantly fewer horizontal and vertical adjustments and helps to:

    + Accelerate the proficiency timeline of new or inexperienced operators

    + Minimize impacts and facility damage

RFID tags embedded in the floor transmit instructions to your trucks, overriding manual controls to:

+Reduce the effects of human error and differences in operator skill

+Minimize truck and facility damage by avoiding collisions with known obstacles
